We are hiring a full time Speech Therapist to design and develop robust and easy to use vocabulary systems that will help people with speech disabilities communicate and build meaningful connections.

You’ll work closely with the product team to build meaningful, culturally relevant vocabulary packs used by AAC users globally.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll help bring communication to life for AAC users through thoughtfully designed vocabulary. You’ll be building the words and phrases they reach for every day – to tell a story, make a request, or simply express something that matters to them.

  1. You’ll create and organise AAC vocabulary files, with guidance and close collaboration along the way.
  2. You’ll adapt and localize vocabulary across languages, working with partners who bring deep cultural understanding.
  3. You’ll explore and use AI tools/LLMs to build, refine, and scale vocabulary systems more efficiently.

A big part of your role will be ensuring quality and clarity ensuring everything we create is reliable, well-documented, and easy for others to build on.

What We’re Looking For

  1. Bachelor’s/Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology
  2. Strong interest or passion for AAC and communication access
  3. Structured thinker with attention to detail
  4. Able to work independently and meet timelines
  5. Comfortable using AI tools productively
  6. Language expertise is a plus, not mandatory

What You’ll Gain

  1. Hands-on AAC Innovation Experience
Work on vocabulary systems used by AAC users across the US and other global markets.
  2. Learn from AAC Leaders
Get mentored by domain experts and understand how evidence-based vocabulary systems are designed.
  3. Tech + AI Exposure
Work at the intersection of speech therapy, AI tools, and assistive technology.
  4. Global Impact
Contribute to multilingual AAC systems that expand communication access worldwide.
  5. Professional Growth
Build a rare, future-ready skillset in AAC product development — a niche expertise in India.

  1. A platform for you to use your skills and impacts hundreds of thousands of people with special needs around the world.
  2. An awesome and specialized team which consists of experts in the domain of assistive technology.
  3. Funny memes on Slack channels time-to-time
